Prop designs for Pan's Labyrinth movie: Chairs, table and fireplace for the Pale Man's lair.

The fireplace was one of those designs that I did very quickly and very viscerally and then it worked wonderfully well. The intention was to create (with the means that a fireplace gives you) a large flaming maw behind the Pale Man sitting at his table.

Prop design for the furniture in the Pale Man's lair. I had great freedom in creating the style for this furniture and it was very gratifying to see it reflected in the movie. Very happy with this section of my work.
